The European-style prefabricated substation is a compact, fully assembled unit that integrates high-voltage switchgear, dry-type or oil-immersed transformers, low-voltage switchgear, measurement and control systems, UPS backup power supplies, control transformers, protective and measuring devices, and indicating instruments—all housed within an enclosure boasting a high degree of protection. The substation features no external exposed components, with separate, independent compartments for the high-voltage room, low-voltage room, and transformer room. The transformer employs air-cooling for heat dissipation, making it an all-in-one outdoor substation equipment. It boasts characteristics such as high safety and reliability, advanced integration, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, intelligent monitoring and management, and flexible configuration options. This substation is particularly suitable for photovoltaic and wind power generation sites where project environments have special requirements for the equipment. Common capacities for dry-type transformers rated at 35 kV and below include 1,600 kVA, 2,000 kVA, 2,500 kVA, 3,150 kVA, 4,000 kVA, 5,500 kVA, 6,900 kVA, 7,400 kVA, and can be configured up to a maximum capacity of 12,500 kVA.
