The European-style prefabricated substation is a compact, fully enclosed outdoor electrical equipment that integrates high-voltage switchgear, dry-type or oil-immersed transformers, low-voltage switchgear, measurement and control systems, UPS backup power supplies, control transformers, protective and measuring devices, and indicating instruments—all housed within an enclosure boasting a high degree of protection. The substation features no external exposed components, with separate, independent compartments for the high-voltage room, low-voltage room, and transformer room. The transformer employs air-cooling for heat dissipation. This integrated outdoor substation offers advantages such as high safety and reliability, advanced integration, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, intelligent monitoring and management, and flexible configuration options. It is particularly well-suited for applications in photovoltaic and wind power generation projects where special product requirements exist. Common capacities for dry-type transformers rated at 35 kV and below include 1,600 kVA, 2,000 kVA, 2,500 kVA, 3,150 kVA, 4,000 kVA, 5,500 kVA, 6,900 kVA, 7,400 kVA, and can reach up to 12,500 kVA at maximum.
