TAILAI ELECTRIC

Combined Transformer (American Style)

Small in size and cost-effective: The high-voltage section adopts a load switch-fuse combination built into the tank, significantly reducing the size of the high-voltage compartment. With a rational layout, the entire box-type substation is compact, requiring minimal on-site footprint and offering a moderately competitive price. Safe and reliable: The box-type substation is equipped with comprehensive electrical protection features, including overloads, short circuits, and ground faults. The transformer itself is protected by non-electrical parameters such as temperature, oil level, and pressure, and real-time data can be monitored from the background system. The high-voltage switch-fuse assembly is immersed in oil within the tank, ensuring high safety levels. Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly: The transformer uses energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials, and its optimized design reduces no-load losses and improves operational efficiency, meeting national energy-saving standards. An advanced cooling system is employed to lower operating temperatures, enhance heat dissipation efficiency, and minimize energy loss. Flexible configuration: Whether for photovoltaic or wind power projects, we can provide tailored box-type substation solutions. Based on site conditions and project requirements, we can rationally configure the substation’s capacity, incoming and outgoing lines, protection levels, and other specifications to meet the unique needs of each site.

Detailed description

The American-style combined transformer is a compact, integrated outdoor substation equipment that houses an oil-immersed transformer (equipped with high-voltage load-break switches and fuses), low-voltage switchgear, measurement and control systems, UPS backup power supply, control transformers, protective and measuring components, and indicating instruments—all assembled within a housing featuring a high degree of enclosure protection. The high-voltage load-break switches and fuses are all installed inside the oil tank, while the transformer itself uses heat sinks for cooling. This transformer boasts a number of advantages, including compact size, high safety and reliability, advanced integration, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, intelligent monitoring and management capabilities, and flexible configuration options. It is ideally suited for applications such as photovoltaic and wind power generation systems with medium- and small-capacity requirements. Common capacities for transformers rated at 5 kV and below include 1,600 kVA, 2,000 kVA, 2,500 kVA, 3,150 kVA, and 4,000 kVA.

Small in size, high value for money.

The high-voltage system employs a load switch-fuse combination built into the tank, significantly reducing the size of the high-voltage compartment. The layout is well-organized, resulting in a compact packaged substation with a small footprint on-site and a relatively moderate price.

Safe and reliable

The packaged substation is equipped with comprehensive electrical protections against overloads, short circuits, ground faults, and other electrical abnormalities. The transformer itself features non-electrical protections such as temperature, oil level, and pressure monitoring. Real-time data can also be monitored from the background system. The high-voltage switch fuses are immersed in oil within the tank, ensuring high safety.

Energy-saving and environmentally friendly

The transformer utilizes energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials, and its optimized design reduces no-load losses and enhances operational efficiency, meeting the national energy-saving standards for loss reduction. It also features an advanced cooling system that lowers operating temperatures, improves heat dissipation efficiency, and minimizes energy losses.

Dry-Transform Energy Storage Integrated Unit—Container Structure

Safe and Reliable: The packaged substations are equipped with comprehensive electrical protections against overload, short circuit, ground fault, and other electrical hazards. The transformers themselves feature non-electrical protections such as temperature, oil level, pressure, and gas monitoring. Moreover, the system can be monitored in real time from the background control center, and remote operations can be performed from there, ensuring the continuous safe operation of the equipment at all times. High Integration: The entire system is pre-manufactured and pre-commissioned at the factory. After integration and testing, it is delivered to the site as a complete unit. On-site, all that’s required is connecting the high- and low-voltage cables and control/communication cables to put the system into operation—thus significantly reducing on-site work and boosting construction efficiency. Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly: The transformers are made from energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials, and their design has been optimized to minimize no-load losses and improve operational efficiency, meeting national energy-saving standards. An advanced cooling system is employed to lower operating temperatures, enhance heat dissipation efficiency, and reduce energy losses. Flexible Configuration: Whether it’s a photovoltaic power generation or wind power generation project, we can provide tailored packaged substation solutions. Based on the specific site conditions and project requirements, we’ll rationally configure the substation’s capacity, incoming and outgoing cable connections, protection levels, and other parameters to meet the unique needs of each site.
