Shandong Tailai Electric Co., ltd. is located in the Kouzhen Industrial Park, Laiwu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. The company covers an area of 40,071 square meters, with a building area of 30,000 square meters and a registered capital of 120.1 million yuan. In January 2017, the company was successfully listed on the National SME Share Transfer System, injecting new momentum into its development. Currently, the company has more than 430 production and technical personnel, including 11 senior engineers and 47 transformer and complete-set technology engineers, with an annual production capacity reaching 2 billion yuan.
In 2012, the company obtained ISO9001 certification for its quality management system, ISO14001 certification for its environmental management system, OHSAS18001 certification for its occupational health and safety management system, and the CCC certification for national low-voltage switchgear assemblies. It also secured type-test reports and arc-flash test reports from a nationally recognized testing laboratory for high-voltage switchgear cabinets, as well as inspection reports for wind power and photovoltaic power generation prefabricated substations. The prefabricated substations for wind power generation and innovative technologies jointly developed by the company and Xi'an Jiaotong University have been widely adopted across the industry. Meanwhile, the company holds a Grade III general contracting license for electrical engineering construction and a Grade IV license for installation (repair and testing) of electrical facilities. In May 2020, it was rated as an AAA-level credit enterprise and designated as one of the first green factories in Jinan City. In March 2021, the company was honored with the titles of “Top Ten Brands of Specialized Prefabricated Substations for Wind Power in China 2021” and “Top Ten Brands of Specialized Prefabricated Substations for Photovoltaic Power in China 2021.”

It has successively established several R&D platforms, including the Shandong Provincial Academician Workstation, the Municipal-level Engineering Technology Research Center for Intelligent Distribution Cabinets, the Fully-Sealed Energy-Saving Three-Dimensional Coiled-Core Transformer Engineering Laboratory, the Enterprise Technology Center, and the “One Enterprise, One Technology” R&D Center. The “Integrated System Development Project for Key Green Technologies in the Production of Modular Energy-Saving Transformers” was listed in the 2018 Shandong Province Green Manufacturing Project Database. The S13-M-315/10 oil-immersed distribution transformer made of electrical steel strip was included by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the “National Catalogue of Recommended Industrial Energy-Saving Technologies and Equipment (2018).” The company’s “Environmentally Friendly and Energy-Saving Fully Automatic Electrostatic Spraying Flexible Production Line” and “High-Efficiency, Energy-Saving, and Intelligent-Controlled Pole-Mounted Transformer” have been included in the “Shandong Province Catalogue of Prominent Energy-Saving Technologies, Products, and Equipment.” In the provincial-level selection for new-energy industry development, the company received the Provincial Outstanding R&D Award and established an Academician Workstation for amorphous alloy distribution transformers.
The company’s main product lines cover packaged substations, transformers, complete switchgear assemblies, and pole-mounted transformer substation kits, among others. Specifically, the packaged substation category includes pre-assembled European-style packaged substations, Chinese-style packaged substations, and ZGS-type American-style packaged substations rated at 35 kV and below; the transformer category primarily features oil-immersed power transformers of the S(Z)11 series, as well as three-dimensional wound-core distribution transformers, flat-laminated-core distribution transformers, amorphous alloy power transformers, and pole-mounted substation complete sets (JP cabinets), along with SCB-series dry-type power transformers; the complete switchgear category mainly comprises medium- and high-voltage switchgear models such as KYN61-40.5, KYN28A-12, and HXGN-12; low-voltage switchgear models including MNS, GGD, and XL; high-voltage load switches combined with fuse cutouts; and cable trays. The high-voltage products comply with the national standard GB3906, while the low-voltage products comply with the national standard GB7251.
The company is equipped with advanced domestic machinery and equipment, epoxy resin vacuum casting equipment, vacuum drying equipment, and a variety of sophisticated testing and inspection devices. It has the capability to independently design, manufacture, conduct tests and inspections, provide on-site installation guidance, and perform commissioning.
