Going Deep into the Front Lines: Tanzanian Side Highly Praises Tailai Electric’s Smart Manufacturing Capabilities
Before the signing ceremony, a delegation from the Tanzania Electric Power Company, accompanied by senior executives from Tailai Electric, conducted a two-day in-depth inspection. The delegation focused their visit on Tailai Electric’s core production areas—the transformer workshop and the complete equipment workshop. In the transformer workshop, from the precision cutting of silicon steel sheets and the automated winding of coils to the meticulous assembly of transformer bodies and vacuum oil filling, as well as the rigorous factory testing procedures, the Tanzanian representatives expressed high appreciation for Tailai Electric’s high-standard quality control system and its robust manufacturing capabilities.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the new-energy equipment intelligent manufacturing project currently under full-scale construction by Tailai Electric. This project integrates cutting-edge technologies such as the industrial internet and artificial intelligence, representing an advanced direction in intelligent manufacturing within the transmission and distribution as well as new-energy equipment sectors. The delegation expressed keen interest in Tailai Electric’s forward-looking strategic planning and its technological reserves in the new-energy field, believing that these elements have laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides on new-energy projects in Africa.
Jointly Promoting Development: Focusing on Africa’s Need for Power Upgrades
Following the inspection, the two sides held a productive meeting. The talks focused on the urgent needs and promising prospects for power development in Tanzania and the East African region. The Tanzania Electric Power Company provided detailed insights into the substantial market potential and specific project plans related to the construction and upgrading of its national grid, as well as the integration of renewable energy sources. Currently, Tanzania is committed to enhancing the stability, coverage, and capacity of its power grid to accommodate renewable energy, creating strong demand for power infrastructure development.
Tayl-Electric showcased its technological strengths and extensive international project experience in areas such as high-efficiency, energy-saving transformers, intelligent medium- and low-voltage switchgear, and new-energy step-up and grid-connection solutions. Based on in-depth field investigations and the fruitful outcomes of productive discussions, the two sides jointly signed a landmark strategic cooperation agreement on July 12. The agreement covers a wide range of practical and substantive areas, including technological exchanges, product supply, project collaboration, sharing of market information, and talent development. Both sides explicitly stated that they will establish a long-term communication mechanism, fully leverage their respective strengths, and work together to provide Tanzania with advanced, reliable, and highly adaptable power equipment and system solutions.
